Denis Chasse PHS ClientWe are proud to announce as one of our NEWEST services, "placement opportunities for professional hockey players in Europe". Due to player demand, we have decided to add the European placement to our list of services offered by Premiere Hockey Services. DO NOT confuse this service with our North American placement service for professional hockey players. This placement service is for players that we consider have the experience, qualifications and are of elite caliber to play in Europe.

The European flood gates have opened to Europe and the United Kingdom over the past few years, with more and more North American Professional, Major Junior A and College players playing, overseas than ever before. Most countries that offer professional hockey at the Premier, Elite or First Division level have X amount of import cards available on each roster.

Professional ice hockey is being played in such countries as Australia, South Africa, Spain and even Israel. Countries such as Finland, Germany, Italy, Japan, Sweden and the Swiss Elite League salaries are compatible to the American and International Hockey Leagues in North America.

In 1996 the Bosnian rule was put into place throughout Europe. This ruling has opened up the doors of opportunity for players with legal European ancestry. A player with European ancestry can now play anywhere without it counting against the "Import Quotient". Teams no longer have to pay transfer fees as the courts found the transfer system of fees illegal.

At Premiere Hockey Services we will provide you the exposure and connections to make your experience in Europe a memorable one. If you have the skill and feel that this opportunity is for you, Premiere Hockey Services can open those doors that you thought were locked and closed.

Premiere Hockey Services will offer the following European placement and exposure opportunities for the following countries. Australia, Austria, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Italy, Japan, The Netherlands, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.

Please note, that regulations and restrictions must be abided by Premiere Hockey Services and its players to properly identify each player applying. Players that do not meet the immigration and league or Federation requirements with the proper identification or ancestry documentation will not qualify. Players that hold citizenship, working permits or hold ancestry will be easier placed.

More and more teams and leagues throughout Europe, have been contacting us about elite players and the opportunities that exist. Some clubs and leagues are looking for high end players with National Hockey League, American Hockey League or International Hockey League experience. Others are looking and are willing to give players of Minor Professional Major Junior A and College an opportunity to receive a contract. It is important to note that most European leagues start and end early with their seasons. Most leagues and clubs require their players to report in August and sometimes sooner.

Each PHS registered European placement player will receive a detailed Information Packet on Leagues and clubs within the selected country and a PHS Identification Card.
